Yes that is true. However what you need to make a decision on is where you think unified communications (UC) is going in the future.

Prognosis is the market leading tool in UC monitoring. What differentiates the IRI product is that it works across multiple vendors. I believe that this gives them a sustainable competitive advantage which is evident in the way they have grown the UC sales since 2008 and I think they will continue to do so as this market is clearly at the early adopter stage.

$10m p.a or so in R&D spending (fully expensed) builds on their market dominance - this is a little acknowledged but great Australian IT company.
