    re: 33.5c..wow,,** breakout alert **seventhwave seventhwave,

    don't be silly man.... there will always be an opportunity to get back in.....

    you just gotta have a tracker (of sorts) on it.....

    i remember when it hit 22c some day a few months back, and i simply watched it - thinking that was heading back towards 20c, but instead has gone back to mid-high 20s and never looked back.....

    the thing is though - when there is overall negative market sentiment, all stocks go down, particularly when interest rate fears are around - and that is a time when it might be possible to get in with some opportunisitic buying....

    The overall cashflow figures weren't to spectacular... and i couldn't work out why the Q1 and Q2 receipts where in fact similar, yet there was a cumulative build up by end of Q2 in customers and therefore net sales (??) should have followed this trend..... but then i realised that about $1000/yr per customer divided by 12mths gives about $83 per customer per month..... let's leave it at $80.

    My guesstimates were;
    For Dec - 10,000 customers @$80 = $800,000
    for Nov - 7,000 customers @$80 = $560,000
    for Oct - 5,000 customers @$80 = $400,000
    for total of about $ 1,760,000.
    But they actually had closer to $1,400,000.
    Now if you play with the customer figures it's easy to get to their figure.... cos i do not know the exact customer figures per Oct, Noc, or Dec months etcetc...... nor do i know the exact average monthly amount paid (just going on previous info).....

    However, overall it doesn't give any cause for panic.....
    The Q1 figures might have some residual revenues from the sale and completion of previous real estate business that this company used to do (b4 it changed it's name and relisted as Jackgreen).

    I been looking at some of the competition to....
    RedEnergy seems like the only one that could cause some threat in Victoria.... cos it has already come thru there, and many people might not want to change their energy providers again - once JackGreen hits..... and they offer cheaper rates (according to their words), and also a discount for payment on time etcetc.....and they seem to be offering some massive prizes to customers from time to time..... However, they do seem to be a company that will be there for only a yr or 2..... and perhaps not very good for its shareholders.... as its margins would be squeezed, and sooner or later they are going to stop with their giveaways, and their Credit Collection facility will still have to exist, because not paying on time simply means that you won't get your discount.....
    Jackgreen's way of doing it all, seems a lot more sustainable (expecially for the shareholder !!).... and i am really looking forward to their community - windpower projects..... as it seems that decentralised power units are going to be a part of the future... ie; obtaining power/heat from local/regional renewable sources such as solar/wind/geothermal, and not simply from the Main power grid......
