I'm sure I am not the only one asking this question. There have been no negative announcements and yet the stock is off a third from where it was not long ago, and well down on its 40c+ peaks of late 2012. Have the institutions got cold feet, or are they finding better value elsewhere? The yield is not especially good, although obviously it is better at 25c than it was at 40c, but I'd rather it was back at 40c and then I'd suffer the low yield. The company has no debt to speak of, and is hoarding cash for a possible acquisition, but the dividend is still stuck at 1.6c, payable annually rather than six monthly as with most companies. Maybe that puts people off. Otherwise, AMA is a really high quality well managed company. It's got me perplexed.
