BK, the grade certainly impacted the price received. WDR is paid on the Platts CFR 62 spot price which is based on ore with a grade of 62% Fe and less than 5% silica. So if the ore shipped had 60% Fe and 9% silica then WDR would have received less than the spot price for it However Macquarie in their research report dated 16/1/14 said "approximately 65% of production is expected to be lump, resulting in WDR achieving a price close to the 62% Fe benchmark despite its product having an average grade of 59%." So as I said previously I was surprised by the low price achieved.
