I liked that one, there were some other good one's also which could give a clue for further opportunities. If you have a look at the Port Hudson well it has been producing since completion and is now doing another perforation. The fact we didn't participate could indicate it is not just oil we are after but worthwhile margins and returns.
The coy web site looks like it has had an update and that gives some indication of the overall strategy:
"Grand Gulf Energy is focused on low-risk, conventional oil and gas plays in Louisiana, close to existing infrastructure and close to or within existing oil and gas production.
Grand Gulf Energy’s strategy is to apply the expertise and new technology (such as 3D seismic) required to deliver a low risk exploration and development portfolio with potentially high rewards. The company is also focused on forming relationships with organizations that can deliver further acquisition and development opportunities."
Imo Louisiana is good because we can all keep a current independent eye on what is going on and form our opinions without total reliance on coy ann's.
Cheers
