AOS Management, IMO, didn't have any alternative but to put money into this. I am pretty sure they had less than 50% of the company prior to the SPP. Did you notice how it wasn't a level playing field? Did you notice how management got more shares than the ordinary shareholder? I believe the SPP should have been conducted on 5 shares for every 1 held. In this case management would still not have 50%, and I would have bought back in. Because you haven't been around all that long, did you know that about 3 to 4 years ago, Analysts were saying how the company was failing to deliver. They highlighted the fact that, if the Company "Liquidated", the shareholders would be a lot better off.
