JAKARTA, PedomanNEWS - Wasambo LNG plant, belonging Word Energy Corporation Ltd. (EWC) is expected to begin flowing gas supply with a total of 45 bbtud initial requirements for power plants in Makassar, Bali and Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara in the middle of this year.
Chief, Division of Gas and Fuel PT PLN (Persero) Suryadi Mardjoeki explained, Wasambo LNG to meet the power plants in Napier with a capacity of 200 mega watts (peaker), Bali 250 MW (peaker), and Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara 80 MW (peaker).
To meet the needs of gas supply plant, has signed Head of Agreement (HoA) between PLN and the EWC in March 2013. "It is estimated Wasambo LNG plant can operate in mid-2014 with a capacity of 70 bbtud, equivalent to 0.5 MTPA (metric tons per annum).
In this cooperation, further Suryadi, EWC scope includes the supply of gas at the well head, the process of liquefaction, marine transportation, LNG storage and regasification at each plant location PLN.


Also, EWC (not EWI) have pre qualified to bid on a 36mw power plant in the Caymann Islands.
