I looked at the Terms and Conditions on their website, and got much the same....
haven't had a chance to compare the overall manner of transactions/contract with the other power co's, however their methods do give them less chance of having bad debts or requirement for a bad debt provision and also any credit collection department........ and the disconnection fee should discourage existing customers from swapping to another one - during their contract period - unless they are able to recoup the disconnection fee due to lower prices elsewhere.... in the current climate of JGL pricing, that seems unlikely.
And in the future, i do believe that JGL will have the ability to cut its own prices more than competitors do, simply due to the higher margins that JGL can make from the onset......(however this is another area of interest - which i will be checking out after the next financials come out).
