Given the price, it might make economic sense.
But NSE have their cash reserves fully accounted for with the drilling in Eagleford shales. Also, the AQO share registry is diverse.
If the takeover comes, Magnum will do it after getting those shares off the Smorgons. If anyone else is interested in the acreage, they might make a move before NSE make their first payment and the farmin agreement is activate, so to speak.
Flabbergasted at the share price after NSE confirmed the deal...up to $42.5 million coming out way. I suppose the near term action is sparse, though, with seismic being done this year...still, you'd think the shareprice would jump above 20 cents.
