Cheers for the reply Serendipity.
I think you sentiment at the end of your post somewhat backs up my view that the major holders may be interested in a T/O, perhaps they would even prefer a script offer, so as to keep exposure to the basin, without the issues of a cash sale.
As I said, another 18 months before a well gets drilled is a long time to wait. Even then, depending on the type of well, i.e. if its unconventional, it will at best be a data acquisition well.
Interesting to hear you say that the NSE deal will go through. I will def leave all debate about that for the NSE threads.
I really struggle to see how AQO management can tell its shareholders that a small oil & gas stock in W.A (NSE), is the best option for them to evaluate their prime acreage. NSE does not currently have sufficient cash to actually undertake the Farm-out agreement program! They will have even less after drilling the wells in the U.S.
So I see 0 certainty that the exploration will even occur.
Any of the companies I mentioned do have the cash and ability to assess PEL 570.
Surely the major AQO holders do not want to be further diluted down the track, they know the company only has 1 real asset.
I understand what you are saying about Magnum Hunter Serendipity, but I just don't see how Magnums 'experience' benefits AQO, I mean, they recently sold their major shale gas plays in the U.S. Seems a bit contradictory to me.
Magnum Hunter has been stringing AQO on for 6 months now. I guess they are a very patient crew.
Luckily, one way or the other, its not a long wait to find out what happens.
