Its impossible to know but these guys look like they are essentially private equity types who invest in companies they can make shine and then sell out after a susteined period of investment a growth.

They don't look like banksters who just want to trade a profit on the stock market, or prey on vulnerable companies.

Some of the brands they have been associated with are household names. I did a Wiki on a few of the brands. Most seem to be growth stories. Brooks was onsold to Russell Athletic which was later sold to Berkshire Hatherway!
