In the case of NSE , Mr Market is suffering from ASX/300 withdrawal syndrome.
Super funds and other financial managers have stupid rules.
Sometimes they can only buy stocks that are listed in the top 300 stocks in the ASX. When the stock drops out of the top 300 (Like NSE did a year ago) the fund managers have to sell regardless of the intrinsic or potential value of the stock.
There may be up to 50m shares that have to be sold because of stupid "rules".
