The head of Pacific Road Capital, Paul Espie, knows Cobar very well …….. His company was involved in the leveraged buyout of CSA back in 1993.

There appears to be some very significant capital behind Pacific Road as well with the Singapore Government as one of their investors. (note: the Singapore Government is also a significant investor in Glencore). The relationships may be cozier than I thought at first glance.

I suspect that this deal is going to raise the profile of our little company very quickly ……. perhaps its time for a name change??????
