They say the past can't be used to predict the future, but that's probably not strictly true in practice. I find shares have enduring past patterns of price behaviour, competitive qualities, profitability, etc. CCL's chances of continuing to grow strongly and steadily over time should hopefully be relatively high, on balance.

Have you successfully shorted CCL?

Can you please share what your continuing special interest in the stock is when it has already come down up to 20% and is now recovering steadily?

Is there much of a case for it to fall now?

Are there 'better fish' for you to fry? The market has marched higher and there are relatively few blue chip shares near a 12 month low. I would have thought CCL being near a 12 month low after a big drop would potentially reduce its attractiveness to short?

Fb, I acknowledge that our styles are possibly diametrically opposed - I simply buy on a value/growth basis to hold longer term, without trading.
