My guess? It's because there are literally billions of shares on offer at such a small decimal point trade. Prices up to 4 decimal points are simply not displayed and rounded up or down. Having phoned CommSec myself, apparently the "market price" is a complex computer calculation which is what determines what you buy at. So just because 0.003 is displayed doesn't mean that's what you'll pay when there are billions of shares at such a small decimal point trade.
