Perth FX That's a very long bow! Looks to me like they they had an immediate very high-level appointment in place, and surely it is standard practice that with the new Managing Director appointment pending, they couldn't possibly call it anything other than an "interim" appointment.
If I was a new MD (wishful thinking), and a company recruited a permanent CFO prior to my starting or having any involement in the appointment, I know where I would tell them to go...
