I think the vertical vs horizontal debate is still out. The EUR for Range type wells is quoted at 600K BOE.

Meanwhile 4 X AOK verticals in the same Acres is 340K BOE.

Recent RFE presentation quoted industry average at 200-500K BOE with their (RFE) average in the sub 300K range.

Notably most of the models for the horizontal wells have been revised down (eg Sandridge, RFE). Though some have improved (eg Range) via better completion.

Also notably AOK drill and completion costs are about $800K over the 160acre spacings.
