I'm unsure as to how situations like these are dealt with. i think from a logical standview there won't be a TH, but there will be a condition on compensation.
i.e. Shareholders that have shares held before 04/07/2013 will be entitled to $x/share
This will allow the stock to continue trading as is, and will also prevent people from buying into the stock simply to receive the higher return.
