I would not worry to much about TSE worker finding alternative employment. Companies like TSE's employees are educated some are on very generous salaries they should receive generous redundancy. No one talk about Swan which cleaning company that had 2500 workers which went into administration. They will not be paid there entitlements or even late few week of work and only paid minimum wages.
I guess companies like Ford listed companies get publicity.

Transfield has lost a lot of shareholders funds, remember there $500M debt ( not sure on exact figure but that what comsec states) will need to be paid first in worse case outcome.
