I don't like anyone releasing numbers out of field XRF measurements. It is hard to be representative, although it is probably not too far away before standardised sampling practices and instrument technology combine to produce representative results. The footnote in the announcement providing guidance with relation to XRF use and reporting is the correct position currently, IMO.
However, the issue here is the ability to detect by XRF and the recent announcement seems to discriminate between silver and the base metals in that regard. Why? Maybe I am reading it wrong, but I haven't been able to get that point resolved. But my queries have been drowned out by excuberant confidence coming from management, which now appears to have extended into TRF. So that can't be ignored.
