I dunno fat bloater, but generally it goes something like.

The general trend in WTP shorts has been to increase from mid feb to april... ie shorts added from 60 to 70c

and then decrease from april to mid may... ie shorts covered from 70 to 85c.

my most sincere apologies if you fall outside this group and represent the 131k shares short outstanding as at 17-may or part of the lucky group that shorted 58k shares between 63 and 55c on wednesday.

But you do realise you're battling with GSPSAS who put a 100k bid at 55c and is willing to put many more...

To me it seems he'll gobble you alive :)

"I also don't suppose that the shareholders who sold the shares down from 84c to 70c prior to this announcement knew either. After all, if they did, they would be cheats wouldn't they?"

Actually, after reviewing the trades in the week prior to announcement... this warrants serious attention.

v.small trades was the norm, and then suddenly 10min prior to the announcement there is a significant pickup in activity (sells from 72c to 70c). The "cheat" sticks out... big time.
