Ed was quote in The West Australian a day or so ago saying the demanded to price reduced to $15m. He said AXM could not accept such a low ball offer and rejected it.


This is also backed up from an article on miningnewspremium.net:

"While Apex said last Friday that it had granted Everprosperity an extension for the payment of a further $250,000, Apex conceded today the suitor had not made the payment in time.

An Apex spokesman told MiningNews.net the suitor had demanded the sale price be decreased materially before it would make the payment.

According to the spokesman, Everprosperity was demanding the sale price be reduced more than half of the asking price."
