I think they will do a consolidation, because it looks ridiculous to have a market with no buyers.
But I don't think they will look to raise any more money. They've got enough now in the bank for quite some time.
I think management will also have to be better, going forward, because instead of just us (small shareholders) they now have Mr Chan looking over their shoulder (literally, with a representative on the board). Mr Chan owns 20% of the company, and just stumped up enough money to fully take up his portion of the capital raising, and also underwrote another $3.5m that wasn't raised.
For all our gripes with the company, there is no way Mr Chan put in $millions without doing his due diligence. We are griping about our stakes of $thousands or $tens of thousands, but Mr Chan has $millions. He certainly didn't invest that much money on a whim.
Something will be happening in the medium term with this, and I'm hopefully that those long term shareholders (like me) that didn't capitulate will be rewarded.
