No worries Samson. I agree MJ & MR have added some fresh energy to the equation.

From the GM they said LSR has been tasked with getting in touch with Balam Group as they still remain a bit of a mystery on some levels. I believe LSR was trying to arrange to meet with them in May sometime. (Not sure if any of that has changed since the GM as that was 1 month ago).

I found this article last week about Usmanov (of Balam Group).

Given that he controls 30% of Arsenal FC it would be great to think of possibilities between BA & the world game.

The most important thing I took from the meeting is that they believe they have truly stabilised the company financially. The upcoming RI and R&D Rebate will also help and the newsletter also mentioned $130k from a possible Export Grant.

I'm not sure we'll ever know what transpired in the back half of last year, but I feel like we are better placed now, but certainly need to get SP heading in the right direction.

Cuppa - I agree with you as well. I didn't ask about that at the GM. Because they want to launch in Australia to begin with I'm not sure who they would need to get to endorse the product. Someone like Cadel Evans?

Chances are in the US they may need someone different to endorse the product.

Sir Steve given his record & involvement with the Olympics last year would have been a good ambassador. But obviously there was a disconnect between marketing efforts & the product being ready and/or available. His endorsement has probably lost some currency since then, but he could still open a lot of doors down the track.

It looks to me like BA is being targeted at non contact sports initially. I'm not sure if it could be worn during an AFL game in case someone got hit in the nose, but maybe it could be used when a player gets rotated off the ground for a quick break? Maybe it could be used at training during all the running exercises in pre-season? Or to assist with warm downs, stretching exercises & post game recovery.

Eddie McGuire conducted the interview with Sir Steve last year so I'm sure he might have had some thoughts on its possible application(s) if any to an AFL team.
