Seriously having looked at the top 20 list from 30 June 2012 I'm wondering whether RB may be related in ways other than holding shares in the same company. This might also explain his reluctance to call for governance reform, when at times (as FX has noted) he makes what appears to be a helpful contribution to the debate.
Given I seem to recall he made comments about buying lots of shares in early 2012 when the he said the reform instigators were off loading something like 7 million shares, I have looked at the list more closely. I just happen to have a copy of the previous prospectus where the offer closed on 04 Sep 2009. That offer was underwritten by some then directors and shareholders. If you based on RB's own post you would expect him to be in the top 10 (which I would) then it seems the likely possibilities are 4,5,8 & 10.
Pure speculation I know but perhaps I can ask: RB are you in the top 10 and are you related to other top 20 shareholders in our comapany?
If the answer is yes it would explain a lot...but raise some other interesting questions.
