Jackgreen on track for speedy Victorian entry
Following the granting of its Victorian electricity licence earlier this month
Jackgreen, Australia’s dedicated renewable energy supplier has announced
that it has become a member of the Victorian Ombudsman Scheme and has
secured agreements with the majority of the local network operators through
which its energy will be supplied.
The company announced its presence in the Victorian market at the highly
successful High Vibes Music Festival staged in conjunction with the Darebin
City Council last weekend.
Over 50,000 people attended the festival which holds events for all ages in the
High Street Northcote shopping strip.
“We are an organisation that is based in the community, meeting their needs
in relation to renewable energy, so it was logical that we started our Victorian
service with a community project” stated Andrew Randall MD of Jackgreen.
“The market is becoming more aware of the need to reduce its impact on the
environment and feels that by selecting renewable energy at no extra cost,
they can make a difference, initially as individuals, and then collectively as
more and more people select greener energy products”, said Mr Randall.
Visitors to the festival met Jackgreen management and supporters and talked
about their energy needs at the specially established High Vibes “Green Pod”
in High Street.
Hundreds of prospective customers will be followed up by the team and many
thousands have taken away information about us and a handy Planet
