Unfortunately SACL's exploration license does only cover coal. However there may emerge some synergies between SACL and LNC when it comes to infrastructure, provided that Lake Phillipson will ever be developed.
After announcing that WEC is "in the process of developing conceptual mine plans on two of the most prospective coal areas within EL4534, which will enable it to commence preparation of feasibility studies for future development options" nearly two years ago on 23 March 2011 we have never heard anything from South Australia again. Perhaps the SACL takeover was just another case of disposing of directors' garbage to WEC shareholders.
