It should be no surprise there is a lack of Victorian representation in the Grand Final even with Victorian clubs making up over 60% of the AFL.
There is a major problem in Victoria. It is obvious four or five Victorian clubs need to be culled or forced to merge with other clubs. Unfortunately an AFL headed by Victorians will never allow that to happen.
Major changes need to be made at the top to stop the money drain to weak Victorian clubs who will never challenge for the premiership. The AFL needs to get rid of the dead wood so the league can evolve for the better.
I would like to see one team relocate to Tasmania and allow them representation in the AFL. That would be a start. A second team in Sydney might also be on the cards if the Swans can get over the line thsi weekend.
