Sorry, I guess I'm bored.
Used to be that you didn't actually need a calculator to add and subtract a couple of numbers, but now you do, or at least an App which looks like a calculator.
Anyhow, according to the drilling reports, which I'll refer to as DRs (SMS-speak) from here on in, the top of the Goldwyer is at 915m and the top of the Willara is at 1035m.
Now the Goldwyer is supposedly 135m thick. So I'm wondering does the Goldwyer extend into the Willara by about 15m, or is the correct terminology that the Willara extends into the Goldwyer, or are these guys really, really good and have found a way to drill using the uncertainty principal, and thus for this 15m in the DR they can halve the drilling time by drilling both formations with same drill bit at the same time?
That should speed things up a bit, because I'm sure this bloody coring is taking about 3 times as long as they thought it would.
Or if someone has some other (Phil's dumb) explanation for this apparent discrepancy please fill in here__________________________
Rebuffs and insults here_________________________
