I suggest that a number of things may happen.

1. MVT make a takeover bid for MMX and keep the Cashmere holdings
2. The board utilise the cash on hand to buy back shares rather than a cash distribution. This will then increase MVT's holdings in MMX without having to stump up cash for a takeover
3. Sir Ron starts to talk to Cashmere around a backdoor listing
4. Sir Ron hinds potential backers that Cashmere has talked about and tries to sell the cashmere stake to them

Effectively unless Cahsmere IPO their shares are worth nothing unless someone wants to buy them.
