The company does a CR by telling shareholders that they need the cash to finally move forward with FP because the 3 years of analysis since they declared it commercial and it produced about 8 barrels of oil have shown that they drilled in the wrong spot and thats it still has a fantastic chance of producing loads of oil.
Now the shareholder have handed over the cash they say they are considering the plugging it. They also indicate that they are looking to find another long shot to spend most of the newly riased shareholder funds on but will take their time because an impressive and unbroken track record such as that of VIL needs to be maintained. Can't go around accidently investing in something that works.
Funny how they were so addament that FP was still a goer before the CR and now they just aren't so sure. What happened to all that analysis?
More importantly given what they have done to the site, what is it going to cost to restore the site? What is VILs liability to FP?
All this adds up to a 10 fold increase in the share price you reckon Zacky? Maybe if they do a 20:1 consolidation of the stock first then the share price might just end up at 1c for a little while.
