CCU 0.00% 5.8¢ cobar consolidated resources limited

seems the silver reserves are fine after all

This goes out to all the reserve NAY sayers, the panicky lot who would aren't sure there's any silver in Cobar anymore:

"CCR is confident in its silver reserve and does not believe that it needs to amend its resource and reserve estimate based on the information available."

"The silver reserve was estimated and independently reviewed in 2011. Since then we have carried out successive rounds of closer spaced drilling that improves the quality of our information and we do not have any information to cause us to change our resource and reserve estimates. We have information at drill spacings of 140x40m and 20x20m, and 5x5m with grade
    control filling."

Read that Gentlemen, "GRADE CONTROL FILLING" apparently DID take place! What a surprise! Looks like the JORC may have had quite a bit of supporting evidence to back it up.

If that doesn't epmhatically put the rowdy "grades, grades, grades" screams, unproductive and totally unnecessary squealing raising doubts and panick mongering about reserves, I don't know what will!

How brazen some downrampers are to sidewind production ramp up teething pains, with "oh goodness, the entire project is in question - "fundamentally so..." ". ???

Makes you wonder WHAT if the company DIDN'T leave such a vague, and cloudy announcement on Monday?! Would there have been the fantastic buying opportunities at SUB 40c otherwise???? What is today's (highlighted in bold)
sentence from the announcement was included in Monday's note to the market:

"The primary reason for making the release was to inform investors that CCR would not meet its annualised production target for the December quarter."

I suppose all well, and there's no need to cry about spilled milk - after all the share register DID shake a lot of weak hands off, and we did get quite a lot of attention from the start of the week running. In my humble opinion, that means lots of new shareholders that are very confident to hold an emerging primary silver producer, from a marked down base.

Lovely, large parcels being snapped up at a cracking pace yesterday, and all morning today. Bet they won't get skitty as the shareprice recovers from bargain levels....
