Just posted on the other thread. They said the mining grade was 72g/T. Boneheads excellent spreadsheet shows recoveries were 40g/T.
Either the 72g/T is wrong (v. bad news).
Or the recoveries are only about 55% (good news, should be able to get the plant to work better).
Or a mixture of the both.
But unless the management are totally incompetent (i.e. can't use a spreadsheet as well and bonehead) they KNEW there was something wrong on 16th October. Or, maybe, they believed the grade and ascribed the low production to process problems which they thought could be remedied by better crushing. Now, having installed the crushers and found production hasn't improved, they've checked the grade and found THAT was wrong .....
Maybe we find out tomorrow.
