Nice to see some discussion back on EMS threads...
The malaria vaccine is an important piece of research (and heavily supported by the Gates Foundation) in the fight against malaria, but realistically it's a decade away from being successfully implemented globally.
In the mean many people will contract the disease and will need to be treated, particularly children with complicated malaria - this is where artimist comes in.
