Hi all
Interesting comment re Berlin Pharma in the Annual Report from last friday:
"
The Company has had discussions with various parties related to HC Berlin Pharma regarding the manufacturing rights. It is the intention of the Directors to have these rights returned to Eastland. It is the opinion of the Directors that the return of these rights will not be materially detrimental to the shareholders of Eastland Medical Systems Ltd.
"
In particular the last comment about the returning of the rights "not being materially detrimental to shareholders"
ie - it wont cost shareholders a lot.
Either way, an interesting choice of words. One school of thought is that that phrase is there to cushion the potential cost of the return of the rights back to EMS, but I dont believe that. I believe it is there to tell shareholders that a return of the rights will not cost shareholders alot.
I for one would be quite happy to write off the euro9m EMS put into Berlin Pharma in exchange for a return of the manufacturing rights.
Anyway, there has been plenty of discussion and it sounds like there is an open line of communication between EMS and the Administrator, so hopefully some action isnt too far away.
