No they don't have to tell why technical issues have changed straight away.

Their obligation is to disclose "material" information, if the well was a duster and they did not inform us then there is a problem.

If there s a major mechanical issue, or any matter that might affect the success of the well, then yes they need to inform the market.

But to anticipate how long the fluids will come back is never an exact science, it depends on matters that are still unknown to them as the engineers are still learning about the reservoir.

OTE is not even the operators for heaven's sake!
