Whats happening with the WA crop Yellowcake? I see yas got some rain, what will it do now?
Things turning bad over here. No rain is in sight, high winds, double the normal amount of frosts. Our crops were waterlogged 2 months ago, and been very little since. Waterlogged crops don't put roots down as well as they should, and then for it to turn dry is not the best. Yields would be starting to decline now I'd reckon.
I'm a bit hedged though, with a few thousand tonnes of sorghum to sell yet. As the wheat crop drops, grain prices will rise to compensate. So as a cup half full view, I can't lose. ha ha.
