Interesting to compare these 2 potential alluvial gravel projects - one in PNG and the other in West Papua.
PNR has gravels grading approximately 0.09g/m3 in their better gravels.
WWI has independent experts predicting average 0.5-1.0g/m3 for their gravels based on previous production estimates. 5-10 times PNR best grades.
PNR expects break-even grade of 0.045-0.055g/m3, which could be used as a guide (although WWIs would be expected to be higher due to PNR having lower power costs and better access).
PNR has a MC of $45mil. WWI has a MC of $6mil.
The big one: PNR has access to their property. WWI doesn't.
Should they get control of the site sorted out, that 15c valuation by BGF Equities (Nov11) comes into play. If they ever start production and the figures work out as predicted, then blue sky. Any progress in that regard and we should see some good action.
Long way to go yet.
