demerger - more than a gleam in the eye, page-3

DrD; I got the feeling that the Demerger will go ahead (and they said in answer to a q regardless of a sale of the efs) but that the timing was an uncertainty. It felt like they want to do it by Christmas but meeting deadlines is not something they regularly achieve. As was pointed out on hot copper, the options that have been granted make no provision for a demerger sO they may have to rethink that (if they are reading h/c). Also agree that the answer to the proposed timeline being maybe 3 months appeared to come from a consultant lawyer. Right at the end JA said something like "see you at Xmas". I thought that meant with respect to an egm on the demerger but my h/c acquaintance (thanks for the coffee) thought it meant on a sale.
