If the copper alone at Manus was jorcd that would be a hell of a lot of cherries.
Based on “industry rules of thumb” for comparable transactions over the past five years, we have used 3% of the copper spot price (US$8,255/t) for the in ground value of the copper resources (US$247/t)
164 million at 0.32% gives an in ground value of $130 million.
Manus will be problematic to extract but movement distance to the ocean is small not like some of the larger deposits stuck in the middle of nowhere in Australia.
We can only dream but that 10% free carried to mine is positive.
