anthracite is similar to PCI coal, with low VM (volitile matter)

but it seems like Rockwood would need a wash plant

i read in the MCC takeover document their PCI coal has around 14% ash [which must be washed down to their 9% ash specification]

i would guess Rockwood may have higher ash, which is washed down to the 11% ash mentioned in their presentation

however, i am unsure about this

but it seems the ash content specified from the very first announcement is washed

this is an example of my objections against EOC

unlike other coal companies, they have not issued a comprehensive table yet listing the various coal qualities on various basis (eg. raw, washed, ad, adf, etc)
