You are dead right about there being a whole lot of activity in this area as I have found out by looking at the Minotaur presentation at the Australian China Resources Symposium held in Adelaide on 11th July 2012.

The presentation was titled Braemar Iron Formation, Australias next big Iron Ore Province.
