David Green has worked as a geologist in the Australian coal industry for the last 30 years of which 19 have been as a consultant. He has experience with various aspects of exploration and mining in all major coal basins in Queensland. He has provided quality geological consulting services to numerous clients ranging from major companies (eg BMA, Xstrata, Anglo, Rio Tinto) to junior explorers (eg Aquila Resources, Macarthur Coal, Hunnu Coal, QCoal) in the coal industry. His services have included exploration management, resource assessment, deposit evaluation, data reviews and management, country reviews, geophysical log interpretation, feasibility studies, technical reports, mine geology assessment, tenure management, and statutory reporting.

Since 2008 David has been a guest lecturer in coal geology at QUT, and has provided supervision, training and mentoring in various roles.

In the last couple of years David has visited Mongolia frequently to conduct due diligences, and provide IGRs and exploration advice for various companies.
