Thanks for bringing some life to the forum. Yes, TXN is a bit of a (slightly sinking) sleeper while we wait for the land sale. I'm more conservative on these things (and hopefully too much so). I would say:
1) Transact Date: 15 June 2) Type: Traditional land sale (might not sell all due to non-contiguous parcels) 3) Share transact: AUD $.85 (EF only; $1.10 for TXN buyout) 4) Land value: AUD $170m
Explanations: 1) Given negotiations (hopefully multiple bidders) and complexities involved, these things take time. 2) Share-based transactions get messy, particularly across exchanges. Personally, I would love a Petrohawk-style buyout, but I suspect land sale is more likely. 3) Analysts estimate EF is worth above $.80/share -- conservative estimate by RBS in April12 and Stock Analysis in Nov11 (latter was $.70/share before additional land purchased). 4) Analyst estimates are$200m- $279m (RBS, 10April12) and about $200m by Stock Analysis (Nov11, adjusted for later land purchase)
As always, please do your own research.
