The Company is focused on the development of therapies based on Cymerus, which is a therapeutic stem cell platform technology. Cymerus uses induced pluripotent stem cells and a precursor cell, mesenchymoangioblast (MCA) to manufacture cell therapy products, including mesenchymal stem cells, on a commercial scale. Its lead product candidate, CYP-001, is under Phase I trial and developed for the treatment of steroid-resistant acute graft-versus-host disease (GvHD).
